ABUJA FEARLESS GAMING TOURNAMENT
The world of video gaming has taken a new leap, Soccer video game isn’t just about pretending to be Cristiano Ronaldo or Pep Guardiola: some of these take a strikingly original approach to the beautiful game especially on the new FIFA 18.
In Nigeria, Fearless Energy Drinks in partnership with Titeboi Entertainment has taken tournaments for eSports to another level, the Fearless Gaming Tournament encourages gamers and aspiring gamers from major cities in Nigeria to compete at the qualifying stages. This time, it was at the Jabi Lake Mall Abuja.
At the tournament, FIFA 18, was the main game played as a face off. The side attractions includes other games like Street Fighter and Virtual Reality. The gamers played with passion, tactics and skills to ensure they could win and qualify for the grand finale.
The game was a tough one as all gamers played champs with their control pads and Fearless Energy Drink by the side. With FIFA 18, games were more fluid, natural and, perhaps most importantly, unpredictable. A new animation system sees the ball bouncing and bobbling in a more realistic fashion, while players will move and shape their bodies in a host of different ways that opens up options in both attack and defence.
After several hours of game rounds, the numbers dropped and tension increased but thanks to Fearless Energy Drink, each gamer had one to refresh and calm the nerves.
Over a 100 gaming enthusiasts were in attendance but Chikezie Okoli bagged the 1st Position after the fearless rounds. The 2nd position went to Fagbemi Ayotunde while Nwanchukwu Okezie got the 3rd position.
