RITE FOODS LIMITED PARTNERS WITH LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT FOR COVID-19 EMERGENCY FOOD RESPONSE COORDINATED BY THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE
As part of relief efforts to cushion the economic effects of coronavirus in the state, Rite Foods Limited has
partnered with the Lagos State government in its COVID-19 Emergency Food response Project, to provide thousands of bottles of drinking water to support residents of the state.
The company has pledged to support the state government’s relief efforts with free bottles of water which
will be included in the raw food produce to be distributed to residents across the state.
The Managing Director, Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, while reacting to the partnership said,
“Like everyone else, we find these moments to be most challenging, especially taking into cognizance, its
effects on economic activities and its consequences on daily sustenance for Nigerians, especially, the most
economically vulnerable.
This is why we are glad to be a part of the Lagos State COVID-19 Emergency Food response Project, as we
look forward to doing our bit to help with providing nutrition for Lagosians across the state.”
He also implored Lagosians to adhere strictly to safety rules and regulations as set out by the authorities,
as obedience, he said, would ensure that, the virus is defeated faster, and life is restored to normalcy for
everyone.
