If you’re a fan of Nigerian Idol, you know how much talent and excitement the show brings to our screens. But did you know that Bigi brand has been a proud sponsor of the show not once, not twice, but for three seasons? That’s right! Bigi lent its generous support to the 6th, 7th, and 8th seasons, creating opportunities for young Nigerian singers to shine and showcase their immense talents.
To kickstart the latest season with a bang, Bigi teamed up with Multi-choice for a campus activation tour. They hit the grounds at the University of Jos, University of Benin, and the University of Lagos, making sure the students were buzzing with excitement for the upcoming show. After all, it’s no secret that students and Bigi’s 13 mouthwatering carbonated soft drink flavours make a perfect match!
The show’s preliminaries took place with weeks of auditions and theatre week performances, narrowing down the field to the top 10 contestants. And then, the real fun began when the live shows aired on May 28, 2023. Abraham, Chisom, Constance, Ose Daniel, Goodness, Precious Mac, Victory, Reigny, Savvy Henry, and Quest captivated audiences with their mesmerising performances.
But that’s not all! Bigi made sure the live shows were an absolute blast for attendees. They set up a life-sized chiller, allowing fans to cool off with their favorite Bigi drinks and capture the memories with fun photos. The interactive booth was a hit, and fans couldn’t resist queuing up to engage with the brand, walking away with fantastic gift packs.
