BBC News Worldwide features Rite Foods Limited in new series “In Business Africa”
It is a well known fact that for businesses in Nigeria to thrive, there are factors that can choke or wither the growth of the business. These factors range from power to government policies and various economic instabilities.
Amidst all that, Rite Foods Limited incorporated in 2008, has since been one out of many Nigerian owned businesses that have proven to stand out against all odds. It is not surprising therefore, that in just few years of being in business; the company has almost overtaken giants in their line of business.
As a result of this outstanding success, the BBC crew considered Rite Foods Limited among many other African brands that has succeeded in harsh economic climates to stand out in order to manufacture products that are best qualities and internationally acceptable.
In the Interview with the Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited, Mr. Seleem Adegunwa, he pointed out two major hurdles that every Manufacturer in Nigeria would face. He said:
“Everything is a challenge. You have to produce the power [to run the plant] yourself, because you’re not on the grid”
And there is the hurdle of gaining access to markets.
Commenting about the acceptance of Nigerian Made products, he said:
“If anything, being a Nigerian-owned brand initially would almost (wanted to) become a negative, because people think that what is produced locally just can’t be as good, but what we’ve been able to do in the last 28 months is to show that no, actually you can be a proudly 100% Nigerian brand and still be able to make products that are extremely World Class”.
His position about market penetration and competing with multinational companies that are very well financed, he had this to say
“In terms of the multinationals it was a non-issue because we knew we were going to come to the table with a facility and a product that will be able to stand shoulder to shoulder, if not actually surpass what they do”.
Evidently, Rite Foods Limited has proven to be truly World Class and 100% proudly Nigerian.

The Fearless Energy Team engaged spectators and audience in Strength and Endurance games such as Arm Wrestling and Push Ups, while some showed immense strength some obviously had been taking enough energy drinks and with the crowd cheering them on the participants continued whatever program they were asked to do beyond what they are used to.
One would think that only guys would turn up for this sort of engagement but the ladies wanted a piece of the action too, these women demanded to be included in the games that whatever is good for the goose is good for the gander and so they took part in the Strength and endurance games, talk about women of steel. The ladies really showed their Fearless side.

The International Drink Festival 2018 which took place on the 29th of November and extended till the 2nd of December had hundreds of people gather at Balmoral Hall in Federal Palace Hotel to try out variety of drinks. In attendance were exhibitors, consumers, mixologists, bartenders, restaurant managers. Features included music, comedy performances, showcase of culinary skills by renowned chefs and a summit to discuss the future of drinks in Nigeria with major stakeholder as speakers.
Rite Foods Limited was not left out in this awesome exhibition. We came fully branded, ready to fill the atmosphere with fun and different kind of attractions. We were there from 29th of November to 2nd of December.
Balmoral hall opened its doors to mostly students who were seriously excited of course by the numerous drinks they were going to have their mouths grateful for. They came in their different status, gender and age groups. As always, Rite Foods Limited came ready for their interests as there were mixologists ready to mix our lovely Bigi and Fearless Energy drinks to further arouse their energy level. Being a drink festival didn’t stop us from adding other spices to engage the guests at our stand.
The label grabber was quite engaging as people ranging from the young to old tried out the label grabber which offer them the opportunity to win free drinks and sausages after fulfilling the conditions attached.
Who doesn’t love free pictures? Of course, nobody would deny that. As a result, our photo booth welcomed people in their numbers. They had so much fun taking pictures both in groups and personalities. And of course, they got their pictures printed and given to them on the spot.
“My crown is not invisible. I’m going to make you see it, feel it and remember it.” This is not an attitude, it is the statement of the regal, Rite Foods’ Bigi Queen who made the loudest noise with her appearance at the venue. She basically left everyone at awe at the event and definitely got hundreds of people staring at her in adoration of how extremely beautiful she was.
Such an apt projection from a brand that would not leave any stone unturned in making a statement and giving her consumers a memorable experience at events is unforgettable. Rite Foods Limited’s presence at the exhibition can’t be forgotten in a long while. We definitely look forward to being there next year just like our very adorable brand loyalists would agree to the same.
Fearless Fires Up the MerryBet Celebrity Challenge
Among the many recreational things Nigerians love so much, Football and Parties stand out. A hybrid of these two phenomena has been packaged by MerryBet for the pleasure of the teeming party creatures that are in dire need for that release of the wildfires that burn in them.
At the Bar Beach, Fearless Energy Drinks powered this hive of bumbling bees that couldn’t get enough of this celebrity-studded event. It wasn’t just the music, the fact that football fans could participate in games and represent their favourite football clubs and win cash and merchandize prizes.
The Hosts Kibati and Nedu clearly brought their own contributions of humour, sass and wit. The football jugglers displayed their skill to their eager spectators who cheered their preferred contestants.
The Celebrity faceoffs were epic, the combinations couldn’t have been more titanic with and all the victors very well earned their trophies. Some of the faceoffs included Rugged Man versus Vector, with Vector (aka the viper) stinging the tough hide of Rugged man and emerging as the victor in the Celebrity Rap battle. It was good to see the flair had never left the Afro Juju maestro Sir Shina Peters, the Legend (Sir Shina Peters) went head-on with Tubaba, the opening challenge had Shina Peters strumming his way to a flawless victory in the challenge of each contestant picking his own preferred musical instrument, Sir Shina Peters picked the guitar and Tubaba requested… A WHISTLE! Although Tubaba could not put up a fight at all Sir Shina Peters was given a yellow card by the referee who just happened to be Kibati and Nedu. Another fine celebrity Faceoff was between Brother Shaggy and the veteran ghetto singer Daddy Showkey, Brother Shaggy ceased the trophy with his sharp wit and skill in football.
Asides the competition, the music was soothing and invigorating to the soul. Sir Shina Peters’ vixens definitely left an impression that the younger generations would scarcely forget in a long time. The night vibes reached its highest crescendo when Burna boy entered the stage and the crowd roared in excitement. Some hearts would have been broken when Burna boy had to leave the stage but MerryBet had another delight for the night before the show was over. The OBO himself ushered in with all the fiery flair and pyrotechnics on stage, fan favourite Davido appeared dangerous and that was exactly what the crowd wanted. His appearance was definitely an overdose of excitement, how bad can that be?
Rite Foods bar, of course, kept the glasses filled with the cocktails and mocktails with Fearless energy drinks and Bigi as the chief ingredient was flowing and was distributed by the sweet hands of the Fearless and Bigi Cheerleaders. Offerings of energy such as Rite Foods offers, handed to all by damsels such as these, how can anybody refuse? The 1st of December 2018 at the Bar Beach certainly would remain a night to remember.

ABUJA FEARLESS GAMING TOURNAMENT
The world of video gaming has taken a new leap, Soccer video game isn’t just about pretending to be Cristiano Ronaldo or Pep Guardiola: some of these take a strikingly original approach to the beautiful game especially on the new FIFA 18.
In Nigeria, Fearless Energy Drinks in partnership with Titeboi Entertainment has taken tournaments for eSports to another level, the Fearless Gaming Tournament encourages gamers and aspiring gamers from major cities in Nigeria to compete at the qualifying stages. This time, it was at the Jabi Lake Mall Abuja.
At the tournament, FIFA 18, was the main game played as a face off. The side attractions includes other games like Street Fighter and Virtual Reality. The gamers played with passion, tactics and skills to ensure they could win and qualify for the grand finale.
The game was a tough one as all gamers played champs with their control pads and Fearless Energy Drink by the side. With FIFA 18, games were more fluid, natural and, perhaps most importantly, unpredictable. A new animation system sees the ball bouncing and bobbling in a more realistic fashion, while players will move and shape their bodies in a host of different ways that opens up options in both attack and defence.
After several hours of game rounds, the numbers dropped and tension increased but thanks to Fearless Energy Drink, each gamer had one to refresh and calm the nerves.
Over a 100 gaming enthusiasts were in attendance but Chikezie Okoli bagged the 1st Position after the fearless rounds. The 2nd position went to Fagbemi Ayotunde while Nwanchukwu Okezie got the 3rd position.
