Like real football tournaments across the globe, soccer video gaming attracts lots of people on every continent. Nigeria is not left out of this devotion as some Nigerians play at these gaming events locally & internationally. An example of such an event is the eWorld Cup that sets a world record of the largest video gaming tournament, drawing over seven million participants in the qualifying round.

In Nigeria, Titeboi Entertainment in partnership with Fearless Energy Drinks has begun paying rapt attention to eSports, launching the Fearless Gaming Tournament which encourages gamers and aspiring gamers from major cities in Nigeria to compete at the qualifying stages. Ibadan was the first city to host the qualifiers and the event took place in
Shoprite, Ring Road, Ibadan.

All players whether rookie, amateur or veteran gamer desires one thing which is “To Win” and Fearless Energy Drinks proudly promotes winners from the Gaming industry in Nigeria. With Gamers flowing with their control pads where it takes them, we have the likes of Ginchi, who missed the qualifiers in Lagos journey to Ibadan to face the best FIFA 18 players of Ibadan.

The qualifiers turned out to be a Lagos VS Ibadan tussle; as both gamers who competed for 1st position were highly skilled with different styles of play. Ginchi was the flair gamer while Ology, his contender was more calculated and precise. Although both players enjoyed the highest number of victories by scoring the highest number of goals for the FIFA 18
competition, Ginchi eventually emerged victorious with a 4-1 win. The 3rd place match was won by laroni, a 15 year old kid but his age meant nothing as he handled his winnings and defeat maturely like any gamer should.

The 1st position for the game of PES at this event was clinched by Dynamic King, 2nd position, Ajibola while the 3rd position was taken by Afolabi. This event had 200 gamers registered gamers and the top 16 gamers from the event would compete with top gamers from other cities at the Grand finale at Queens Park events center, Lekki in December 2018.

Other featured games for free game play at this event were Mortal Kombat XL, Marvel vs. DC & Dance Central 3.
