Seleem Adegunwa is a seasoned Chief Executive with diverse experience in operations, sales and strategy. He is the pioneer Managing Director of Rite Foods, and has a first degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA degree in International Business from Birmingham City University and the University of Bristol, respectively.

He is passionate about driving business growth and achieving exceptional results. His ability to optimize business processes, streamline operations, and implement innovative strategies have been key in steering Rite Foods Limited to develop leading brands and enhance overall organizational efficiency.

Mr. Adegunwa has a keen eye for sales and marketing spanning over 28 years. Prior to his current role in Rite Foods Ltd, he was General Manager, Sales and Marketing in Ess-ay Holdings Ltd.

His entrepreneurial mindset and quest for Excellence propels him to identify market trends and capitalize on emerging opportunities to consistently drive growth and increase market share in a competitive landscape.

Mr. Seleem Adegunwa
Managing Director/CEO, Rite Foods Limited

A former Deputy Managing Director of Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas Limited and former Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director, Support Services at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) where he retired. Mr. Inuwa, with experience spanning over 35 years, has a degree in Accounting and a Masters in Accounting and Finance.

Mr. Inuwa has an active community and public service life. He was a member of the Presidential Committee on the Management of the Excess Crude Account and a Member of the Bureau of Public Enterprises Committee on Reconciliation of Public Sector Debt.

He was educated at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and Stirling University, Scotland, where he obtained BSc Accounting and MSc Accounting and Finance degrees, respectively. He has attended several courses and executive management programs at Wharton, Oxford University, Euromoney, INSEAD, IMD, and other high-profile global institutions. He sits on the Boards of reputable Companies in Nigeria.

Mr. Isa Mohammed Inuwa
Independent Non-Executive Director

Raheem is currently the Executive Director, Operations & Services/Chief Operating Officer at Sterling Bank Limited, with over 34 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry.

He began his career as a Resident Internal Auditor at Citibank Nigeria from 1991-1999 before joining BDO Stoy Hayward, LLP in the United Kingdom as a Senior Internal Auditor where he conducted clients’ audits in areas covering Compliance and Corporate Governance, Treasury, and Cash Management.

He joined Access Bank Plc in 2008 as a Deputy General Manager and Head, Compliance and Internal Controls (Subsidiaries) where he was responsible for implementing the Bank’s Compliance & Internal Controls framework across subsidiaries in 8 African countries and the UK and 3 non-banking subsidiaries in Nigeria. He joined Sterling Bank as the Chief Compliance Officer in 2014.

He holds a First-Class degree in Economics (1990) from Obafemi Awolowo University and has attended Executive Management Courses at London Business School, Harvard Business School, and the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, IIA; Honorary Member, the Chartered Institute of Bankers (HCIB), and a Member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.

Mr. Raheem Owodeyi
Non-Executive Director

Mr. Kunle Elebute is a chartered accountant with over 40 years of experience in Consulting. He commenced his career with the firm of Coopers & Lybrand (C&L) in 1982. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1986 and joined Arthur Andersen as a Manager in 1988. He was Senior Partner/CEO of KPMG Nigeria and Chairman of KPMG West Africa.

At various times during his career, he served on many not-for-profit Boards such as the Society for Family Health in Nigeria which had annual grant funding of US$100m for HIV prevention, Malaria,  Maternal, and Child Care in partnership with a global organization, PSI in Washington DC; Nigeria Economic Summit Group; American Business Council; PSI Washington DC where he served on the Board in the United States for six (6) years. He also served on the Boards of Grange School, Ikeja, Lagos and Igbobi College, Yaba, Lagos.

Mr. Kunle Elebute
Independent Non-Executive Director

She is an astute professional Accountant with over 27 years of experience and is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Rite Foods Limited. She has vast experience in financial planning and analysis, treasury management, risk management, cost accounting financial management among others.

Mrs Balogun worked in the Media and IT industry in both the United Kingdom and the United States and also held various positions in different companies under the Ess-Ay Holding Group and delivered outstanding results before she was promoted to the role of Executive Director, Finance and Administration. In 2019, she was appointed to her current role in Rite Foods Ltd.

She is a graduate of the University of Lagos where she earned a first degree in Computer Science and later trained as an Accountant in the UK. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She also holds an MBA from Cass Business School, UK.

Mrs. Kudirat Balogun
Executive Director

Dr. Sulaiman Adebola Adegunwa, OFR is a Nigerian Industrialist, entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist whose business and philanthropic activities span over six (6) decades.

He oversees the activities of the Board as the Chairman of Rite Foods Limited steering the strategic vision of the Company. He is presently the Chairman of Ess-ay Holdings Ltd and Ess-ay Investment Ltd (an investment vehicle with vast holdings across various sectors in Nigeria) just to mention a few.

In 2006, he was conferred with a National Honour of the Officer of the Order of Federal Republic (OFR) by former Nigerian President – Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

He served on the Board of notable Nigerian Banks for 12 years at the height of which he was appointed the Board Chairman of Sterling Bank Plc between 2007 to 2014.

He holds five (5) Doctorate Degrees (Honoris Causa) from five (5) different Nigerian Universities for his exemplary contributions to educational development and is currently the Chancellor of Summit University, Offa, Kwara State.
