Hey there, festival enthusiasts! The Ojude-Oba Festival took place in the ancient city of Ijebu-Ode on Friday, 30th of June, 2023. The festival themed “A Lesson in Religious Harmony” ushered us into whirlwind of colours, culture, and camaraderie as we set the stage ablaze with their vibrant sponsorship of the Ojude-Oba Festival.

Known for its vibrant and dynamic celebrations, the Ojude-Oba Festival is a true testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people. The people were surrounded by a kaleidoscope of costumes, resounding drum beats, and infectious laughter. Being greeted by Rite Foods’ eye-catching banners and vibrant displays, instantly immersing them in the electrifying atmosphere as they entered.

And this year, we took the festival’s vibrancy to new heights with our incredible display of procession to pay homage to the Awujale of Ijebu land.

But it didn’t stop there! We went above and beyond to ensure that festival-goers had an unforgettable experience by refreshing them with our amazing 13-variant flavours of Bigi carbonated soft drinks. Some enjoyed the premium Sosa fruit drinks with our mouthwatering flavours like Orange, Apple, Cranberry, Orange Passion, Mango, and Mixed Berries. And others had the Fearless energy drink, in the Classic and Red Berry flavours. It also gave an energy boost to the horse riders, regberegbe and other attendees.

The Awujale of Ijebu-land commended Rite Foods for being part of the festival’s success and also caring about the community and its values. He even wished us success in our expansion plans and applauded our contributions to community development and youth employment.

The Ojude-Oba Festival is a celebration of unity, culture, and tradition which aligns with Rite Foods’ values.  From colourful parades showcasing different age groups, awe-inspiring cultural performances by the warlords’ families and Wasiu Ayinde (K1 De Ultimate), every moment at the festival pulsated with energy and excitement.

We also had a widespread of engagement spots in and around the venue where people danced and had fun, while enjoying some of our delicious and refreshing beverages and sausage rolls. Trust us, it was irresistible and people kept coming back for more.

Rite Foods didn’t just sponsor the festival but also showcased products on power bikes, enthralling people with an element of surprise, one of the transformers’ character, Bumblebee as we paid homage to the Awujale of Ijebu-land. It was an adrenaline-pumping experience for competitors, spectators, and customers alike as they got to see our fantastic range of products.

All in all, Rite Foods Limited made the festival an unforgettable experience with its support, delicious beverages and sausages.
