At Rite Foods, we believe in savouring the good things in life, and that includes caring for our planet. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the grand finale of our #RiteRecycle2.0 initiative, a celebration of art, innovation, and environmental responsibility!

This exciting campaign, driven by the powerful hashtag, invited Nigerians to showcase their creativity and eco-friendly spirit. We challenged participants to transform everyday Rite Spicy Beef and Bigi Beef sausage roll wrappers and cartons into unique works of art. The platform was theirs to own – a 1-minute video to share their artistic vision and inspire others to join the sustainability movement.

But #RiteRecycle2.0 wasn’t just about expressing their artistic sides; it was about making a real difference. By participating, individuals not only unleashed their inner artist but also contributed to a greener planet. Every recycled wrapper and repurposed carton represented a step towards a more sustainable future, a future we’re all invested in.

And the response was nothing short of phenomenal! From October 19th to November 24th, 2023, we witnessed an explosion of creativity. Participants crafted photo albums, stylish caps, comfy slippers, captivating portraits, and even educational materials for classrooms – all from humble sausage packaging. These amazing creations were a testament to the boundless potential of recycling and repurposing, proving that even the smallest actions can have a significant impact.

As the campaign drew to a close, the excitement reached a fever pitch. On December 15th, 2023, at our Lagos headquarters, we welcomed the winners and presented the gifts

  • Ojevwe Esther Onomigbo, our grand prize winner, walked away with a cool N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira), along with packs of Rite Sausage rolls, movie tickets, and an unforgettable adventure with Rite Foods.
  • Giwa Progress Jesutomiwa, the first runner-up, received N70,000 (Seventy Thousand Naira), a treasure trove of Rite Sausage rolls, movie tickets, and an equally thrilling adventure.

A tie for third place saw Abidoye Oladimeji and Esther Ufot Ubak each bagging N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira), a delicious bounty of Rite Sausage rolls, movie tickets, and, of course, an exciting adventure with Rite Foods.

Six other participants received consolation prizes of N20,000 each, along with other fantastic gift items, for their remarkable contributions to the #RiteRecycle2.0 movement.
