CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME: RITE FOODS LIMITED’S RELIEF EFFORTS DURING COVID-19
For two weeks, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria gave a directive for lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja that have restricted physical movement. This was followed closely by another two weeks directive that selected businesses can began to operate but with total interstate travel lockdown for all individuals except for essential services. Through the weeks, it was evident that the lockdown directives affected majority of Nigerians whose livelihood is gotten by working daily to get their daily bread.
Rite Foods Limited saw the need to reach out to those who are in dire need during this period and after partnering with the Lagos state government on COVID-19 EMERGENCY FOOD RESPONSE COORDINATED BY THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE and Ogun state government on OGUN COVID-19 FOOD RELIEF, decided to go to the level of the community and families.
Ososa town, Ogun state is the location of the Rite Foods World class factory and as the saying goes about charity starts at home, it was decided to begin reaching out to families and communities from the Ososa community. The food relief packages contained 5kg bag of rice, 5 kg of beans, 5 kg of garri, a pack of Bigi Premium drinking water and a carton of Rite or Bigi sausages
The first phase of food relief packages was donated to 4,013 families in 7 communities in Ososa town. The communities are Oke Ala, Oke-Esin, Odo-owa, Osalakoye, Idomowo, Odo-Alere, Ijoku. The leaders of the communities visited the CEO/Chairman of Rite Foods Limited, Alh. Sulaiman Adegunwa addressed and gave a word of encouragement to the leaders of the communities before the leaders moved to distribute to food relief packages to families in their communities.
The 2nd phase of food relief packages was donated to 4,000 families in 6 Ijebu LGAs and an additional 429 bags was donated to the Police, Special Protection Unit and General Hospital, Ijebu Ode. The LGAs that benefited are Ijebu Ode, Ijebu North, Ijebu East, Ijebu North East, Ijebu Waterside and Odogbolu.

Rite Foods Limited has commenced free distribution of bottled drinking water across Ogun State, delivering to various communities, in continuation of its COVID-19 relief efforts in Nigeria.
This follows its recent partnership with the Lagos State government, to provide free bottles of drinking water as part of the state’s Food Bank Project, targeted at providing food and water to residents and communities in the state, especially, the economically vulnerable.
According to the Managing Director, Seleem Adegunwa, synergizing efforts in these challenging times would deliver maximum impact, stating that, the company will continue to look at channels through which it can support COVID-19 relief efforts for Nigerians, as the nation works towards eradicating the spread of the virus, and ensuring that things come back to normal in the shortest possible time.
He said, “We know the times are challenging but we are Nigerians and fundamentally, that means, being strong and very familiar with withstanding adversity and coming out strong.
That is why we hold the strong belief that together, everyone contributing their quota, both in providing material support and keeping to specified health instructions, we can support one another through these times, and come out victorious.

As part of relief efforts to cushion the economic effects of coronavirus in the state, Rite Foods Limited has
partnered with the Lagos State government in its COVID-19 Emergency Food response Project, to provide thousands of bottles of drinking water to support residents of the state.
The company has pledged to support the state government’s relief efforts with free bottles of water which
will be included in the raw food produce to be distributed to residents across the state.
The Managing Director, Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, while reacting to the partnership said,
“Like everyone else, we find these moments to be most challenging, especially taking into cognizance, its
effects on economic activities and its consequences on daily sustenance for Nigerians, especially, the most
economically vulnerable.
This is why we are glad to be a part of the Lagos State COVID-19 Emergency Food response Project, as we
look forward to doing our bit to help with providing nutrition for Lagosians across the state.”
He also implored Lagosians to adhere strictly to safety rules and regulations as set out by the authorities,
as obedience, he said, would ensure that, the virus is defeated faster, and life is restored to normalcy for
everyone.
Our strict adherence is critical to the success of the fight and victory against the coronavirus,” he said.
FEARLESS AT BIMMERFEST 2019
For lovers of luxury cars, grand and stylish automobiles, muscle cars and chargers, the Bimmerfest 2019 was just the place to find all the exotic cars in all their glory. The event showcased BMW supercars and power bike models of different kinds.
As it is an event that exemplifies the daring attitude, the Fearless Brand had to be at the Bimmerfest 2019 to ensure that everything is electrifying. The highlights of the event included a drift course were people with mastery of vehicles was showcased. Many times it was clear that what ever the suspension system in a regular car it would not survive the drift course.
Speaking to one of the drivers of what it is like in a drift car, he had this to say
“Inside is a drift car on a drift course is a riot of activities, as the driver wrestles with steering angle, breaking and wheel speed to throw the car in an unnatural position- sideways”.
The demonstration of supreme car control is only reserved for stunt drivers that are worthy of Hollywood screens. Who knows the with events like these, with Fearless Energy drink fueling the adrenaline pumping event, we just might have more professional drift drivers that are Nigerian.

FEARLESS LAGOS COMIC CON 2019
The Fearless Lagos Comic Convention 2019 which was a remodeled version of the Lagos Comic Con was a success. One unique thing about this year’s event is that for the first time, Fearless Lagos Comic Convention was a 3 day event, answering the yearn of thousands of attendees who have requested an extension of the fun and business opportunities.
A number of new activities were featured and the Fearless Energy Drink Brand brought a new dimension to the event with the Fearless Jungle Experience Centre which became the centre of attraction, fun and refreshment. The quality of engaging activities ranging from indoor games to VR, 360 Video Booth, Face painting, Music and refreshing cocktails and mocktails from the Fearless bar enhanced the quality of discussions and audience take home.
This year’s event featured exhibitions, panel discussions, workshops, competitions, pitches, and cosplays. Unlike previous events, the convention was free access to all zones.
There were 12 powerful panel sessions featuring elite speakers which included top executives in media, TV, publishing, gaming, content distribution, etc. talking on subjects relating to content production in Africa, business funding, content distribution, and marketing, growing audiences and building creative business brands in the African market.
At the master class zone, top creative professionals also facilitate classes on film making, story plotting, illustrations, storyboarding, scriptwriting, film direction, film editing, comic colouring and many others. At the costume competition, dozens of cosplayers compete for a grand prize of N100,000 other gifts from the Fearless Energy Drink Brand which was the title sponsor of the event for the year.

FEARLESS AT BMW AUTOFEST 2019
The 2019 BMW Autofest was held at Akin Adesola street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Luxury cars and sporting cars arrayed the stretch of the road. The event featured Muscle cars and Power bikes of different models.The participants engaged in drag races and bike and car stunts and the popular badgang club of bikers in different arrays of leather jackets and exotic helmets.
The entire affair felt like scenes from racing movies in Nigeria. It also featured the local Keke napep riders engaging in their own form of drag race.
The Fearless Energy Team engaged spectators and audience in various games while refreshing them from the line-up of our Fearless Energy Drinks, Bigi Drinks and Bigi, and Rite Sausages.
