We are proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Kehinde Onijingin as our new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective November 1st, 2023. Dr. Onijingin, a distinguished professional with over 21 years of experience in human resources and strategy, will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s standing as a market leader in the food and beverage industry.

Having previously served as the Head of Human Resources and Administration, Dr. Onijingin has been instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our organisation. With over 15 years of leadership experience in both manufacturing and financial services, he has consistently made significant contributions to these sectors.

Dr. Onijingin has been chosen as COO due to his exceptional track record of value creation within the company. Since assuming the role of Head of Human Resources and Administration on October 2nd, 2019, he has driven substantial improvements not only in human resources but also across various facets of the organisation.

As a valued member of our Management Team, his insights and contributions have propelled our growth, earning us numerous accolades within the industry. Before joining Rite Foods Limited, Dr. Onijingin served as the Head of Human Resources and Administration at Honeywell Flour Mills Plc., where he held various leadership positions and played a key role in shaping the company’s growth strategy.

Dr. Onijingin’s dedication to professional development is evident through his extensive education and certifications. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, specialising in Knowledge Management, obtained in April 2013. Additionally, he earned a second Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Babcock University in April 2017. Dr. Onijingin is also a Certified Balanced Scorecard Professional, recognised by George Washington University and the Balanced Scorecard Institute, West Africa.

Upon his appointment, the Chairman, Alhaji (Dr.) Sulaiman Adebola Adegunwa (OFR), expressed his confidence in Dr. Onijingin’s capabilities, stating that he is the perfect fit for this role, given his outstanding performance in his previous position.
